Disconnect for some hours and walk a while the pathway of St. Benedict

After picking you up from your hotel we take the motorway towards the village Aiguamurcia where we enter the cistercian monastery of Santes Creus.

After this visit we drive to Montblanc, the medieval town known to be the location of the legend of St. George and the dragon. During the drive we cross the typical hilly landscapes of the Mediterranean full of olive farms and vineyards. Here in Montblanc we stop for a lunch break in a rustic restaurant.

After lunch we enter the cistercian monastery of El Poblet. Both, Santes Creus and El Poblet are UNESCO world heritage sites, breathtaking examples of gothic architecture and burial site of some of the kings from Aragón.
